Kearsten is 8 months old and is so much fun. She says Mama, Dada and blows raspberries. She likes to sit up like a big girl and is forming quit the little personality. Abel and I can’t help but to spoiler her so, I am not sure if she will ever walk, talk, or crawl. Anytime she fuses her Dada will hand her anything she wants; she’s kind of a princess.
Abel is doing extremely good in the academy and will be graduating in six weeks; we are so excited! It has been extremely difficult having him gone but, we know it will be well worth it in the end. We can’t say thank you enough for all the support from our friends and family; we couldn’t have done it with out you! Everyone has been so helpful and we feel so blessed to have such amazing people in our lives.

This year we had the best Christmas ever! Our little Princess has made our life complete; she is such a blessing! As our tradition goes we are able to open one present on Christmas Eve; which are normally pj’s and the rest on Christmas day. Kearsten had so much fun opening her presents. We had a fun full day; we started off opening presents with Kearsten, then we went to Jaclyn’s for biscuits and gravy, then to Grandmas, then to Uncle Andy’s, then to Grandpa Ben’ and finally back home. We had such a fun time, but it wasn’t over. The next day we went to Grandma and Grandpa Doty’s for dinner, presents and games. It was extremely busy and lots of fun. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Sorry that I haven't updated for a while; it has been pretty crazy since Abel has been gone. Kearsten is now 6 months old and is getting so big. She is eating baby food, rolling over, and talking up a storm. Abel is still in the academy and is doing well; it has been challenging at times but it will be worth it in the end. He has 13 weeks left; not that were counting. We managed to get the Christmas lights on the house and it’s official we have the best decorated house in the neighborhood (not that were competing). Abel lucked out this year because I went on the roof top. He got a little grief from the neighbors that I was on the roof top instead of him, but that’s ok because either way he contributed. Other than that not much has changed, married life is still amazing and Kearsten couldn’t be better. I will try and post some pictures this week sorry for no new ones.

Our little angel has been sleeping 10 hours a night; and she slept in her crib for the 1st time on the 21st of September. She did really good, however, I almost had a nervous break down. She has surpassed all of our expectations. We can hardly remember what we did without our little angel in our lives.
We recently received good news; Abel has been offered a position with the Benton County Sheriff Department and we are trying to prepare ourselves for him leaving to the academy. It is going to be quit the challenge for us to be apart, but we know that it will benefit our family tremendously. We have been so blessed this year and we are looking forward to all our new adventures!
